This is a local club and a fantastic display from the children “Lil Dragons” right through to the adults.

Lots of action, breaking boards, fast moves, lightning reactions & complete disipline - They will be performing Saturday & Sunday.

Our chief instructor is Dan Thomas 4th Degree WTF black belt and founder of Southport Taekwondo, with over 11 years teaching experience you’d be sure that your learning the very best in the area.

Since September 2000, we have earned our reputation by offering the most comprehensive and holistic system of training for our students of TaeKwonDo. Southport TaeKwonDo is an educational and family oriented club that enables virtually anyone to achieve a strong mind and body enhanced by traditional values and morals.At our club, we are not only interested in self-defence skills, but in the development of each person as a whole. As a famous teacher once said, “These are the tools of everyday life. What you learn here, you can apply elsewhere”. Nowhere is this more important that in our children’s classes, where we realize that they must embody the very same principles that parents try to instil in their children.

We believe that dedicated direction and training are necessary to advance oneself physically, mentally and spiritually through the study of martial arts. We promote physical fitness and positive social interaction in a courteous and fun atmosphere. Our greatest responsibility is to instil in our students a sense of discipline and a code of ethics to inspire them to lead exemplary lives as leaders in the community through assertive confidence.Unite Martial Arts has been running since the beginning of 2010 and is the the only mixed martial arts facility in the Southport area with an impressive 1500 sq ft matted floor space. We believe quality students come from quality instruction! That’s why our instructors focus on excellence in martial arts as well as the ability to motivate, communicate, and encourage students to reach their highest ability in everything they do.

Teaching methods are always evolving and being updated to achieve the highest level of instruction. We are also home to children’s specific classes (Lil Dragons) that have been designed in conjunction with paediatricians, doctors and child psychologists to help improve your children’s physical and mental well being.
